Will bad grades during 1st semester freshman year online learning impact my chances significantly?
Answered

Title basically says it all, I didn't do so well transitioning from middle to high school over COVID, and had subpar grades. I clutched up second semester and got a 3.9, and got straight As in person the 2021-2022 school year. I took a couple AP and honors classes, and will be taking a lot my Junior year. As long as I tell the admissions officers, get good grades in my classes junior year, will I be fine?

Just wanted to create a topic with this question, was looking for information for his brother, he also missed part of the training due to illness and is now worried about his grades. He was already thinking of buying some thesis proposals at https://paperell.net/buy-research-proposal to improve his scores. So far I have persuaded him to give all his free time to study and at the end of the year to see what happens.

Yes, you can make up for your freshman year grades by explaining your extenuating circumstances in the Additional Information section and getting good grades for the rest of your high school career. Admissions officers give the least weight to freshman year too, and you will have 7 semesters of good performance to overshadow just one not so great semester. You will be all set.

Hope this helps!
