Extracurriculars that don't match my desired major

I run a YouTube channel that posts videos more to the comedy side but has gained Thousands of subscribers, Millions of views and collaborated with other channels, but it has no connection whatsoever to my desired major which is architecture. do you think it's a good idea for me to list it in my activities list or not

Hi there,

Yes, I definitely think that it's a good idea to list this on your college app. Although it doesn't relate to your major, you can show what you've learned from running a somewhat large YouTube channel (responsibility, accountability, working with others, being more organized...). The traits/skills that you've learned from running a channel can be applied to your work ethic and your overall personality/growth as a person. (Plus, it's pretty impressive to have millions of views on your videos!)
