join extracurriculars! the more commitment you show can help you if you want to run for an officer position later on. officer positions can really impress college admissions :)
1. Determine your major of interest and do activities which relate to it. This is called creating a spike
2. Start working on creating your school list. You should ideally have 8-12 schools on there - if you are applying to 8 schools, 2 of them should be safety schools, 4 should be target schools, and 2 should be reach schools. If there is one school on your list that you would choose to go to over all the others, that would be a good option for an Early Decision application.
3. Take the PSAT
