I don't know what to major in.
Answered

I am so lost. I have no idea what to major in, and I'm already in my senior year. I've looked at colleges, fields I'm interested in, and jobs that would seem great, but I still can't decide. I've tried doing it by elimination, but I'm still lost. I have to decide my major to be selected for the scholarship I'm applying for, and I'm still stuck. Can anyone please give me advice on how to pick a major I won't regret? Would it be better to go with double majors? Double degrees?

if anything, try to choose a major that has to do with subjects you're best at or have the most intrest/passion in. But if it helps, many people switch majors multiple times throughout college! If you can'd decide between two, double majors could be a good choice, or minoring in one of them. Double degrees could be a lot, but it could be helpful too. If anything, you could also think of which makes more money, or gives u a better chance of getting a job (think practically if the choice is hard to make.) it could also help to talk to family, a counselor or even college advisor if you haven't already! In the end, just do what you love and think you'd be content doing until retirement or at least for a while.

It's totally alright, most people don't end up using their degree at all in the workplace. Just choose something you have an interest in, and go from there. Most colleges allow you to change majors anyway, and you'll have around 2 years before you start actually taking majors related classes if you plan it right. Worst case, you don't really need college, you could jump straight into the workforce or go to a trade school, which is on average much cheaper, and the practical skills are thousands of times more useful.
