If I got a B in an ap class and since its on a 5.0 scale do you think they would care if I got a B in an ap class even tho its count as an A on the regular scale for gpa.

All colleges want to see the best grade and best test score in an AP. A grade of A and a score of 5 is ideal. Then maybe an A- and a 4. And so forth. So if you get a B, B+, and a lower test score like a 2 or 3, well that doesn't look great compared to a peer who has a better grade and better test score. Your 4.0 on a 5.0 scale doesn't impress readers.
