College Board Exam Codes
Answered

Hi, I need exam codes for my past AP exams, and I'm not sure where to find them. I hear that they differ for each school and are also different if you take the exam on a regular date (original schedule) than a later one (make-up day). Are these exam codes on the college board website?

Hi there! Your high school code (CEEB code) to sign up for an exam is either in your guidance office at school, or you can search it up on this website - https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/k12-educators/tools-resources/k12-school-code-search

For the exam codes themselves, here's a PDF that has the codes for awards and the classes themselves on page 5 - https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/media/pdf/ap-datafile-layout-2020.pdf

OR they can be found here

http://secure-media.collegeboard.org/digitalServices/pdf/ap/ap-student-data-record-layout-crosswalk-2016.xlsx

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:pFlnxWt7w6kJ:secure-media.collegeboard.org/digitalServices/pdf/ap/ap-student-data-record-layout-crosswalk-2016.xlsx&cd=11&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

(the first link wouldn't work for me)

Other than that - I don't know of any other code for the AP exams and I don't think that they differ based on school or date, since the two documents above have the same codes... If my answer doesn't seem right then I would contact your guidance department for help or wait until another CollegeVine user answers this. I hope this helps you!
