I am currently a member of my high school's mock trial program. Our mock trial team is actually part of an elective class, so does that still counts as an extracurricular activity?

Yes, it totally still counts! As @Liltrooper said, there are many other classes that count as ECs. It’s even better if you participate in it outside of class, like leadership and yearbook do. Do you participate in competitions or after school ever? Then it’s definitely an extracurricular. Hope I helped!

Yes, it still counts as an EC. Many schools in the US have elective classes like Newspaper, Leadership, and Constitutional Law but they are really official ECs as well.
