How to figure out what to major in?

I know this question is a large question, but I am just not sure what I should major in. I like math and science, but not sure if engineering is right for me. My dad is one and says it’s always an option, but I also have an interest in business. I’m just not sure how to find my passions and how to figure out if I’ll like studying certain topics in great detail in college, or when I have a career after graduation.

What type of math do you like? Calculus, algebra, geometry, statistics? If you like all sorts of maths, you could major in math and become a mathematician. If you like statistics, you could major in statistics become a statistician or a financial/business analyst. Mind you, you could become a financial/business analyst if you major in economics or finance or something else.

If you like chemistry, you could major in it and become a chemist.

This depends on what you like and what you can see yourself doing. If you don't think engineering is right for you, you don't have to scrap the idea completely. Just put it on the back burner for now until you get a clear view of what being an engineer is like. This is the same for any type of career or major you're thinking of pursuing.

I, for one, could never see myself becoming a chemist. Chemistry is alright, but it's biology for the win for me.
