1270 is a good SAT score but not a full-ride scholarship score. Most merit-based scholarships that are high value like 1/2 tuition or full tuition or tuition/room/board start at 1500 or a 99% percentile score. 1270 will get you some merit aid at many schools, primarily at those whose 50% SAT range is like 1000-1150. The only exception would be if you were a Division 1 recruited athlete and a college wanted you bad enough for your athletic ability. Then you have many options.

@Kend do you know of any HBCUs giving full-ride scholarships based on merit for a 1270 ACT? If so, please share. Most are need-based.
