Would It matter to colleges, If you take a foreign language course, after not taking it for two years.

For example, you take spanish 3 junior year, after taking spanish 2 in 8th grade?

Most colleges only want to see at least 2 years of a foreign language in high school(9th-12th grade, 8th won't count). As long as you satisfy that requirement, you should be fine.

I'd say to try taking them in consecutive years if you can, mostly so that you can retain the information you learned. If that's not possible, it should be fine to take them two years apart.
