What to say to college in letter explaining low SATS
Answered

any tips for what to say in letter to college explaining why my diagnosed slow processing speed= low SATs (1240)? Despite extra time, I cannot improve them...taking them 3 times by Oct. Scores are required for one of my schools.

You should explain these extenuating circumstances in the Additional Information section of the Common App. You do not need to write using narrative here like in your personal statement - you should simply state the facts.

Also, highlight how you have tried your best to do well on the SAT despite your slow processing speed, and this is why you took it three times. This blog post has more tips on writing about your circumstances. Hope this helps!
