When you apply to college do you only submit rec letters from teacher and counselor or can you do outside source Rec letters
Recommendation letters apart from those from teacher and counselor can be submitted if you want to AND the college allows it but keep in mind that admissions officers get roughly 6-12 min per application, so they won't have time to read all your LoRs. Unless it's really convincing and conveys new information, submitting it won't help much.
Hope this helps!
It depends on the college. If you're using Common Application, certain colleges will mark "Other" in the Recommendation Section - almost all of these will be optional. Other colleges may not give you the option to submit other recommendation letters outside your teacher and counselor at all.
