Common app - both parents went to school outside the US?
Answered

Hi, I'm trying to apply to some schools through the common app, and I realized I can't put the universities that my parents went to in the education section. The only options are schools in America, but they got their degrees in Venezuela.

I don't know how to apply without this information... does anyone have a solution?

When you select "college lookup" and type in the name of the college, there's an option that says "I can't find the college I'm looking for." After selecting that, you should be able to enter the information.

Hope this helps!

Hi @aleuwii!

As @Anonymous123 pointed out, you should be able to enter the details manually after selecting the “I do not see the college I’m looking for on this list" option.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
