Should I apply to governor's school?

I'm a current sophomore aiming for a T25 university. Should I apply to Governor's school? Will it help with college admissions or be beneficial to me in any way? If I do, I'll either apply for the Medicine & Health Sciences program (I plan on going into pre-med), or the Visual and Performing Arts program (violin).

If you're on the path to get into a T25, yes, you should try to go to governor's school in the summer. They tend to be fairly selective from what I've heard, though, so I would make sure you meet if not exceed the prerequisites to apply to one. When these colleges look at your activities, having a strong extracurricular you did in the summer (like went to a prestigious, selective program) will be advantageous.
