Teacher "doesn't believe in giving A's", how will this affect my chances?
Answered

Hey!! I'm currently a sophomore and taking 2 APs, 1 Honors, and 1 accelerated. I have As in all my classes except english accelerated, in which my teacher says she doesn't believe in giving As, because "no student is perfect". She will give them very very rarely and she only gave 2 for the first quarter, out of >60 kids taking the class. The class is only accelerated and had no gpa benefit, how will the affect me if I get a B?? I'd love anyone's input I've been very stressed out over that class, tysm!!

Well if you are passing all your other classes and continue acheiving A's throughout high school you should be good. Be sure to take more AP/honor/accelerated classes during high school to boost your chances of getting into the college of your choice. I made a mistake and I never took any AP classes during high school, and currently I'm a senior but my transcript looks great, so I'm positive that you'll be able to get into the college on your choice if you meet the requirements and continue to work hard. :) Hope this helps!
