How do I know if I’m a commended scholar?

I got a PSAT score of 218, which should qualify for commended scholar (not national merit in my state, though). Should I have received an email about this from collegeboard, or do I just assume I am one??

Hi @bleh! I'd check with your guidance counselor and see if they received anything (they might have forgotten to pass it along). Otherwise, I'd recommend calling the College Board for further clarification.

Hope that helps!

Surprisingly, these things take a while to come out. I took the PSAT last year and qualified for national merit and it took forever to be released. Just wait, should get to you eventually.

I'm certain you will hear from College Board shortly. Usually, there is a lag period between reports and announcements. You can always google search for past announcements.
