P.E Course On College Applcation
Answered

Hello,

Sorry if I didn't make this post correctly - not fully accustomed to the website yet.

I've taken P.E for two years - freshman and sophomore, would I include those grades on my application? I've talked with some colleges that say that P.E will fit under the category of 'D2' (physical science) on the A-G list. However, some also said not to include it,

it's confusing because they are both within the same university system (CSU).

Currently, on my H.S transcript it shows P.E counting towards my cumulative GPA, which I assume would count towards my GPA which i'm going to use to apply.

It's probably best to reach out to both again and clarify, but it would be helpful to see if anyone was in the same boat and already found out the correct answer.

PE doesn't really count as a A-G gpa. It may be an Elective, but they prefer to see something academic-related (economics).

If you're a California student (I think you are), try login to California Colleges. Using California Colleges, you can use this to automatically fill out the CSU application. Try ask your counselor about this.
