CompSci programs during school year?

Hey!! I'm currently a sophomore hoping to pursue CS. I want to familiarize myself with it more and get experience that'd look great to colleges!! Any programs that anybody knows about or activities I could do? During school year or summer, both are great.

Also, since I'm aiming for UC Berkeley, I need to really stand out, is there anything else I could do that would improve my chances?

Thanks in advance <3

Hi! CS is not my interest but it is for a lot of my friends. One of my friends created a CS club at our school and they compete in hackathons, participate in Coding workshops, invite guest speakers, etc. If there are any tech companies in your area, I would also recommend looking for internships to apply to so you can do those over the summer. Make sure you are keeping up to date with them because you don't want to miss the deadlines in spring for the summer internships. Hope that helps!
