Common app activity seciton volunteering
Answered

When filling out the activities section of common app, is it possible to put everywhere I volunteered into one part? I have other activities to list, but I am stumped when it asks for my position/leadership.

You can definitely put all your volunteering experience into one part, for the position just say volunteer at "...","...." whatever places you volunteered at. Also, remember to add the number of hours you volunteered for, eg, 50+ hours at the end of your description.

You could certainly list all volunteer experience in one section! I might split it up if they were wildly different, though. For example, I have one part that covers all political volunteer experience under "activism", and another that covers my volunteer experience at my public library. You could also state something like "various volunteer positions within my community" and describe it more underneath that.
