should i go on a lds mission before collage or during collage i want to serve a lds mission but i also want to get into a good collage and if i go on a mission before how will it affect my admissions because i wont have been in school for at least 2 years.

Hello, @nathaniel I'd suggest going before as GAP years are the only thing most colleges offer. So by the time you're done with your Ids mission, you'll still have a chance to go to a good college. Hope this helps!

If you go to church-supported schools they are a lot more considerate about taking the two years off and transferring back in. If you're old enough, though, I agree with foreversilent--go on a mission first so that you can be better focused on both your mission and on college when you're done with your mission instead of being distracted by changing back and forth between them. A lot of people blow that first year off if they know they'll leave in a year anyway.
