PSAT Results
Answered

Hi! I just got my PSAT results back, and I'm a little disappointed in my results. I got a 1450, which is the same as I got for my unofficial PSAT my sophomore year. My NMSQT score was 218, and I live in Georgia. Do I still have a shot at making National Merit?

For 2022, the cut off score for Georgia was 219. The cut off score this year may be around that, plus or minus a point or two. If the cut off score decreases, you may have a shot, but if it doesn't, at least you'll get commended.

I personally have a 208, so I know I won't be able to make National Merit, but I'm hoping for commended.

I also had an NMSQT of 218 (Georgia), I did not get National Merit but I was commended, which you can still put on your resume if you'd like. Still very impressive.
