Should I count my Pre-Ap courses as Honors both on and off CollegeVine?
Answered

I was updating my profile and was wondering if I should add my "Pre-Ap" courses under the "project Honors classes" column. I was confused because when I contacted my councilor, she informed me that at my school, both Honors and Pre-Ap are considered the same.

Hi @Vaish!

If your counselor said that your school considers Honors and Pre-AP the same, then they indeed do. It's good that you asked about whether to add your courses as Honors on CollegeVine, but your counselor is the most reliable source (it's their job :) ) for what you should put your courses as outside of CollegeVine.

Hope this helps!

Yes Pre-Ap courses are basically Honors courses. Your counselor is correct. This term is used in my school as well.
