Just in, Yale reported it accepted 776 SCREA admits from a pool of 7744 applicants.
21 percent of applicants were deferred, 67 percent were denied, and 2 percent were withdrawn or incomplete.
Last cycle Yale accepted 800 from a pool of 7288 applicants.
What doesn't this mean? It means the RD rate is going to be lower than last year as well which was 3.8% (1434/37495). We can anticipate an RD rate of around 3.5% or less with a total acceptance rate of 4.0-4.2% for the Class of 2027.
