What if I have lots of other extracurriculars but only 1 - 2 in school clubs?
Answered

I joined a bunch of STEM programs, internships, etc outside of high school, but in school I’m only apart of 2 clubs and 2 sports. Should my application have an equal amount of in-school and out of school activities, or is having more out of school extracurriculars okay?

Hello! It is fine that you have more outside of school. Extracurriculars are still extracurriculars. If are doing well at school and consistent in the hobbies you do, then colleges will see you as well-rounded and balanced.

Hi @conniezworld!

Where you do your extracurriculars does not matter to colleges. It's completely okay to have more out-of-school extracurriculars than in-school extracurriculars.
