Class of 2027 Brown University ED Acceptance rate drops to 13% from 14.6% last cycle

This year Brown received 10% more ED applications 6770 compared to 6146.

Nevertheless, it accepted around the same level of ED admits 879 versus 896.

I feel more students applied to Brown because of their new free full tuition deal for families earning up to $125,000 which is nearly double of some other colleges like Columbia.

My best guess is that Brown's overall admissions rate will fall below 5% for the first time in history in the high 4s, making it nearly as hard to get into as Princeton and Yale.
