Admissions Advice

is there an equivalent to sat/act in canada?
Answered

I currently reside in the USA and only know about the SATs and ACTS for college testing. I want to apply to Canada for college as a Canadian citizen. will colleges in Canada accept SAT scores or do I need to take another test for college acceptance?

There is no Canadian version of the SAT or ACT. Standardized test scores are not required in the admissions process for public Canadian universities, though there are a few private universities which accept the SAT. In every other case, your grades and a short personal statement are all that you typically have to submit. Hope this helps!
