Admissions Advice

Us courses
Answered

So i am an Indian applicant and here we don't get to choose specific courses like we can't just choose calculus rather we choose maths in general which has calculus and geometry etc included. So when colleges ask for courses taken should i include calculus or just maths? Will that make them think i just know general math or not calculus. I'm afraid to put calculus on my own as it says it should be the same on transcript which obviously on mine would just be mathematics. If anyone is an Indian who got into a prestigious university, please help me.out

Hi @Rummanjan!

Colleges have admissions officers who know the specifics of curriculums from all around the world. They'll know what courses you were offered, what classes you've done, and what material they covered. Looks like you're applying as a math major, so you're tense about colleges thinking you don't know much math. Nothing to worry about.

Hope this helps!
