Here are a few Tier 1 CS activities:
- Developing an app that generates thousands of dollars in revenue and/or is downloaded by tens of thousands of users
- Winning 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in a national or international computer science competition
- Leading a computer science club/honor society/educational organization at a national or international level
- Making a groundbreaking CS discovery
- Conducting CS research with a distinguished professor
