Answered

Hi everyone I currently speak Spanish as my mother tongue and English perfectly I also speak German and I am starting to learn Portuguese. Now my question is will this have an impact on the universities and if so how much will it affect?

Hey there @lvasquez!

It's great to be fluent in multiple languages just in life in general. However, unless you wish to persue a major such as international relations that would require you to speak multiple languages, it's not something colleges really look for. If you can, take AP exams for German and Spanish, because if you do well, it will boost your application overall. Other than that, being multilingual is a more of a good life skill than something to help get you into college.
