PRE IVY DAY, BROWN pre-announces a 5.09% acceptance rate vs. 5.03% last year !!!!
On a conf. call or internal memo, the Brown Dean Logan Powell announced that he would add 1730 RD admissions to the already 869 ED admissions for a total of 2609. He also announced that Brown received a total of 51302 applications between the 2 pools. Therefore, the Class of 2027 acceptance rate is 5.09%. Personally, I'm surprised that they didn't get more RD applications since they received a record amount of ED applications. I predicted a 4.55% rate so I was off a bit.
