Should I take Duel Enrollment Statistics or should I take a 2nd internship period (I am already taking one block next spring)? I am also already taking year long AP AB Calculus. I intend on being a business major in either finance or marketing and am aiming to get accepted into University of Maryland Smith School of Business. I am also taking a separate finance class too.
I would personally suggest dual enrollment, especially if you already have an internship period scheduled. Both are a lot of work, so your scheduling, flexibility, and workload should be the most important factors in decision making. Getting credits out of the way in high school is really helpful and looks good on applications, but an internship can provide really good experiences.
I have a dual enrollment class taught at my high school by a college professor, and he has said on a couple of occasions he thinks dual enrollment is one of the best gifts you can give yourself because you don't have to take as many classes when you're trying to figure out the specifics of being an adult.
Ultimately, you do should do what YOU think is best! You have fantastic classes either way, and are clearly ambitious. I'm sure whatever choice you make will be the best choice for you :)
