I've been told I would be a great teacher, but there is no way I'm doing that (because of the pay). My U.S. History teacher told me I should try pursuing law school. I also excel in mathematics and science. So I'm not sure what path is right for me.
The answer depends on how long you want to spend in college, where you want to go for college, and lots of other factors. The end decision is based on a lot, but here are some questions to ask yourself to narrow it down.
How long do you want to spend in college?
How early do you want to retire?
How much do you want to get paid?
Do you want to live a rich lifestyle or a moderate lifestyle?
What subject intrigues you the most?
How well do you think your future career can stay in use?
After answering these questions, you should have a closer understanding and view of what you hope for. I hope this helped!
Before you consider, think about:
- Are you passionate about it?
- Do you want a challenge?
- Can you handle the work ethic?
- Do you want to try something new?
- How well do you think you can handle it?
Tips:
- Don't do it for the money and the outcomes, do what makes you happy
- Focus on mastering the requirements for the path you want
- Expand your intellectual horizon by excelling in other subjects
- Note that if you switch majors, it won't be easy starting over
