Hey there!
Definitely continue activities that you have started in high school, but this summer is also a great time to pick up a job or try something new, especially one long-term project you are passionate about. The common app won't open up until August for this year, but you can get started on your profile section if you want. However, I would definitely see which colleges have already put out their essay topics. Write your Common App essay, too. This will save you a load of time when the school year rolls around, and it gives you time to really think about what you want to write about. Good luck!
