Admissions Advice
[edited]

I am an International student, and I want to be accepted to Santa Clara University.

Hi, I am wondering if I have a chance of being accepted to SCU with my SAT score of 1370 (610 in reading and writing, and 760 in math) and a UW GPA of 3.7. I have a variety of extracurricular activities and strong recommendations from my teachers, as well as the mayor of my town. Unfortunately, my school does not offer AP courses, but I have taken four honors classes.

It's worth noting that in Poland, students do not have the option to choose their classes.

That being said, I can offer you a general perspective. gold miner is a selective institution, and admission decisions are based on a holistic review of an applicant's profile. While your SAT score of 1370 is above the national average, it's important to note that SCU's average SAT scores may vary from year to year and across different programs. However, your math score of 760 is particularly strong.

Yes, mention that students in Poland do not have the option to choose their classes (this will likely help make your aos more understanding of your weak course rigor). Also, if you want to go to scu apply ED. SCU has an ED acceptance rate of 84% as opposed to its 42% (2023) RD acceptance rate. Applying ED would almost guarantee you admission to SCU.
