B grade in Geometry

I am taking summer geometry and getting 94% on day 3 of summer class. Though I am trying to maintain an A, but what if i dont withdraw and i end up getting B grade. How this will impact my chances to get into top 50 college in the US? I am in freshman year.

Although it would be good to maintain the A, I don’t think US colleges will penalize you for just one B grade. If you do mess up, what matters more is if you improve in high school overtime (e.g. going from Bs to As in a certain subject). Colleges also have a holistic approach where they assess your personal character through extracurriculars and your personal statement, besides just having stellar grades. All in all, just try your best in the class! If you get a B, it isn’t the end of the world.
