How can you write a good "why this major essay"?

I am a rising senior and am confused on how I can begin writing the "why this major" and the "why us" essays.

Hello! I think the easiest way to do the "why this major" essay is to say why you are interested in such classes, and how it can help you achieve what you want to do in the future. For example, if you're majoring in biomedical sciences, you could say something about how you are majoring in that area to prepare yourself for med school to become a doctor, because of x reasons.

For the "why us" essays, its important to do your research, and be honest. Are you applying to the university because of class sizes, the prestige of the program, and specific professors or programs it offers?

The most important things for both of these essays is specific details that apply to the specific college/university you're applying to.
