My school doesn't offer any APs or Honours and certainly doesn't have an SAT prep or ACT and stuff like that.
If your school does not offer any advanced classes to students, you can always consider taking dual enrollment at a local community college, which will show colleges that you challenged yourself with course rigor and you can handle the workload in their college. In addition, you could self-study and take the AP exam at a local school that administers AP exams, (apstudents.collegeboard.org/faqs/can-i-register-ap-exam-if-my-school-doesnt-offer-ap-courses-or-administer-ap-exams) look there for more info. You can prepare for the SAT using the Khan Academy official SAT prep, and for the actual SAT practice tests, download the Bluebook app and do practice tests frequently, at least one a week will help.
You will definitely be considered as an applicant if you take higher level courses offered at your school. Schools that offer AP or IB classes have students that excel in such hard classes, and they have a reputable score to prove it. The fact that your school doesn't offer them should be listed in an additional comments section and often times, these selective colleges know if you took hard courses. Even if you don't have these well-known courses on your transcript, try to take the hardest classes you can. As far as the SAT and ACT goes, the schools are test optional but having these scores definitely increases your chances of acceptance. Even if your school doesn't offer the SAT, try taking it through College Board. Hope this helps!
