I had some scheduling conflicts and my senior year schedule will be a lot easier than my junior year one was. This is great because I was stressed and had no free time last year. A slightly easier schedule would have been perfect. Now though, I am worried it's too easy. My junior schedule was Piano (easy), AP Calculus BC, AP French, AP Biology, AP US History, AP Language and Composition, and Off-campus PE (nothing basically lol). Senior year, I'm doing AP Physics C- Mechanics which will be hard, piano again, AP Statistics (easier than BC That's for sure), AP Lit and AP gov (both way easier at my school--are they seen that way by colleges?) and an off-campus research program. If it is too easy, what can I do to make up for it?
Hey there @Elise_!
Honestly, your schedule seems pretty balanced and consistent with previous years to me. I'm assuming that you've already taken AP Calculus AB if you took BC last year, so AP Statistics seems like the next logical choice to me. Taking AP Literature, Physics, and Government round out your schedule nicely, so it seems like the only subject you've dropped is a language, which is pretty understandable if you've already taken the highest language offering at your school. I don't think AP Lit and AP Gov will make it seem like you're slacking off, as they're both high-level classes, especially if you've already taken all of the other (or many of the other) honrs/AP English & history classes your school offers. You could maybe consider doing an independent study in a field you're interested in, but otherwise your schedule sounds fine to me, especially with the off-campus research program you're doing.
