What makes an extra curricular a strong one and or stronger?
Answered

Hi so far into my high school year half of my extra curricular rankings are at 4a (standard) and I’d like to know how I can improve on them or what ones to join that allow me to strengthen my extracurriculars.

Bowling 3b: Strong

African American History Challenge 3c: Strong

National Honors Society 4a: Standard

Boys Golf 4a: Standard

For Golf:

- Varsity Golf Member

- Captain of either JV or Varsity Golf

- Outside of school competitions

- Teaching Assistant for a Golf Coach

- Coach elementary or middle school students (either Paid or just a volunteer thing)

National Honors Society:

- Leadership Position

- Frequent Volunteering at one organization (100+ hours)

- Help organize events as a volunteer (even without an actual leadership position in the club, this demonstrates leadership)

I'm not exactly familiar with the other two activities. If you could tell me what you did for those two, then I could come up with more advice. You would have 10 slots on your college application on the CommonApp, and filling out at least 7 is recommended.

Hope this was helpful, and Good Luck!
