Good colleges for Bio(medical) engineering?

Hello!

I am about to be a high school senior and want to apply as a biomedical engineering major. The major is fairly new compared to other majors, so there is not a huge list of schools offering it. I plan to go into biotechnology after schooling. I would want to go to school in California, but if there are any schools somewhere else with a great bio(medical) engineering program I would be open to it.

Thanks!

I know Johns Hopkins has a great biomedical engineering program! I've also heard that University of Pittsburgh and University of Virginia are great schools
