Is this prestigious or am I just delusional

I found some oyster shells on a beach and to make a long story short am currently making calcium acetate out of them, and out of that I'm trying to make pretty well known compounds, hopefully with my bio teacher (can do alone but doing it for the rec), but I'm doing the above step completely by myself.

PS: I'm first gen, so I'm completely doing this by myself: no lab, no assistance, no previous prestigious science program/literally anything stem related except bio class.
