Course Rigor Recommendations
Answered

Hi, I am an international student studying at a small international school, and I want to study business or business-related majors. I have a gpa of 3.9+ (I wouldn know the exact gpa until the semester starts, but I got all As in my junior year)

Unfortunately, my school only provides students with 2 ap courses in junior year due to a budget constraint, so I only have 2 ap courses appeared on my transcript so far. However, I saw someone saying that taking online ap courses on edx, coursera, etc. or taking online college level courses that provides transcripts and credits at a university would help. Could anyone please suggest me how to make up on this please?

Also, would this prevent me from getting accepted by ivies even though I do have very strong ecas? How can I make up for this to get into ivies?

Thank you very much!

Admission officers are looking at what you have NOT what you don't.

If taking AP courses on websites such as Coursera is an option & you want to take more AP classes then do so. Your GPA is also very good also try to have extracurriculars related to business.

It's more impressive if your school offers 9 AP classes and you took 7 than if your school offered 9 and you only took 1 so you are doing VERY good.
