I haven't taken both the sat and the act but is planning on to this year and i wanted to know good ways on how to study for it and what helped you, like websites or tips for the actual test, thanks
I would highly suggest Khan Academy, they have great practice resources!
I am a big fan of Flashcards. They’re a great way to remember formulas and stuff like that. I highly recommend the Princeton Review ACT Prep books (you should be able to get them from the library). I found the Official ACT Prep books to be unhelpful, but they’re worth checking out. The Princeton Review ACT Prep has exercises that I found especially helpful for the English and Reading portions.

Yes, the full practice tests are formatted exactly like the real test (at least for the SAT, not so sure about ACT since I didn't take it). I recommend taking a practice test on KA to see what you need improvement in/as a pretest. Also, I know the College Board sometimes posts practice questions (about 20 on a PDF) with answers, I did a math one today. They're helpful for if you just want a little bit of quick practice.
