Columbia College is the undergraduate college of Columbia University. CC is the child of the Parent University just like Barnard College, Fu School of Engineering SEAS, and Columbia School of General Studies.

There are many other colleges called Columbia College in California, Chicago, South Carolina, Kansas, Washington etc. These are not affiliated with Columbia University and are not part of the 8 Ivy League schools.
