Interior Design
Answered

- How many years is Interior Design at this college normally?

- What classes or courses would I have to be required to take?

- Do I have to take Algebra 2 since I didn't take it in high school?

Most Interior design degrees are 4 years. Some advanced ID degrees like Syracuse's B.I.D. program are 150 credits take 5 years to complete and require a portfolio at the time of application. Most schools will have some math placement exam if you do not have a lot of math in HS and you will most likely have to take College Algebra or something similar during your freshman year.

You need to research HS requirements for each of the schools you are applying to. They all vary in degree offerings and reputation. I'm certain the harder ones like Cornell University want a lot more HS requirements than say the University of Cincinnati.

Here is a link to Pratt Institute 4-year degree course requirements which is 126 credits.

Good luck.
