Drexel is a costly school for me personally since I come from a low-income family. I've been researching ways to afford tuition without piling up loans. On many other platforms, I've seen people getting full-ride scholarships but they seem to be the intelligent students with perfect GPA and SAT scores. I have a 3.75 GPA and have not taken the SAT because of family issues. I'm worried I will not be able to afford the tuition if I get accepted into Drexel. Please help.
Hello,
You can get a full tuition scholarship but it only pays the tuition and nothing else. So you'll have to pay for the supplies and rent yourself. You can get extra scholarships that help cover other expenses like rent, bills, groceries, supplies, etc. I personally the website Bold.org to find scholarships. Also try to apply to as many scholarships as possible, even the less paying ones, since smaller scholarships like a few hundred dollars can pile up and help a lot.
I hope you can get some scholarships. Good luck!
