Duke's Supplemental Essays?Answered
There are two optional supplemental essays for Duke. I know that we are supposed to take every chance we get to show who we are to admissions officers and that means writing every optional supplemental essay. However, only one prompt out of all the options applies to me personally. Will it count against me if I don't answer a second optional prompt?

The rule of thumb for all college admissions applications is that if the college added something optional like "optional video", "optional essay", "optional submitted piece of writing", or "optional questions", they are not optional.
By not submitting the optional elements you are discounting your appeal to the university.
