Any college in a politically RED state (conservative) will not have a lot of diversity either from American applicants or International students.
At ASU the International student population is only 5% or 1 out of 20 students. This is about 3 to 4 times lower than if you were to apply to more liberal colleges located in Blue states. NYU in Manhattan for example has an international population of 28%, more than 5 times the rate of ASU.
