How to put Track and Field on Common App

I participated on my school's track and field team but I never qualified to participate in varsity or school competitions. Should I still put this on my CommonApp because I was still technically still part of the team? If I do, does this qualify as "Athletics: Club"?

Hi! You should definitely put it in your Activities section if you got a lot of value out of Track and Field and it isn't competiting for space with other activities on your list (if you have more than 10). More often than not, your activity description and how you show involvement or leadership in the activity is just as important as the activity itself.
