Admissions Advice

In-State or Out of state

Hi! I'm a freshman and I've always wanted to go to college. First, I wanted to go to an out of state college like CALARTS, but as my brother is attending college this year I'm starting to have doubts. Through this experience I've realized just how far away I would be from home and my support system. I love the idea of moving away and being independent, but at the same time I'm afraid if I do that things at home will change. The colleges out of state offer me a great chance to get my dream job and degree. The colleges in-state don't have that much credit in the field I want to major in, but it's close to home. If you have any advice or words of encouragement, please let me know. Thanks!
